When is the best time to sell?

If you are considering selling your house and aren't sure when to do it consider this…..Buyers are looking to live in your neighborhood NOW, Today!  Currently buyers that are looking to live in many of the great neighborhoods in Greater Seattle and Eastside and can’t find much to buy.

I’ve had conversations with clients who are going to sell in 2015.  Several commented that they thought summer would be the best time.  It’s a common misconception that can cost Seller’s thousands of dollars.

The chart shows how many home receive offers each month in our area.  Things actually peak in May and trend down after that. Selling in early Spring will give you access to more buyers than waiting until Summer.  Interestingly, most of the price appreciation also happens in the first 6 months of the year.  Want to maxizmize your sale price — consider selling sooner than later!

'Tis the Season — our chance to give back

It's here! The crazy holiday season is upon us. Like me, I'm sure you get busy with decorating, eating, parties, shopping, eating, and  celebrating with friends and family — which involves more eating.  Another thing I make sure to take time for is to give back to those less fortunate than my family.

I am putting together a two-part Holiday donation program to make it easy for you to help, too!

Part One — November Food Drive:  Non-perishable food collection to donate to Hopelink.  Beginning November 24 (until November 27)  I will pick up non-perishable food left on your front porch (or other designated location) to deliver to Hopelink.

Part Two — December Book Drive: NEW children's book collection for Page Ahead — children's literacy program.  Beginning December 16 (until December 19) I will be picking up NEW books left on your front porch (or other designated location) to deliver to Page Ahead.

I want to participate! There are a few ways you can let me know you will be participating; 1) "LIKE" me on facebook and shoot me a message of your involvement; 2) send me an email; 3) call me! (206)300-9416

Look for my November & December SNAIL MAILER (yes — in your mail box)  for more details AND as a reminder of this food and book donation extravaganza!  Not sure I have your mailing address? —  email me here
